Most nightclubs stay open until 3am in Dubai, and several have dress codes, so call ahead if you hope to turn up in jeans. There’s also a thriving (and competitive) bar scene. Live music

During the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, nightlife is more low-key, as live music and dancing are not considered acceptable. Dubai being the tolerant place it is, however, means that venues which cater primarily for expats or tourists do tend to remain open.
