Tennis
There's never a problem finding people to play, as tennis is one of the most popular sports in Dubai. There are courts all over
the place! Most are outdoor hard courts, although an indoor centre is under development. The majority are also floodlit, as it gets dark early in Dubai, and the evening is one of
the most comfortable times to play. Don't forget the drinks and head protection if you go out during the day - it's all too easy to get dehydrated on court.
Some of our properties have tennis facilities on-site, but you can also find courts at the hotel beach clubs (purchase a day pass), at the Aviation Club stadium, where the ATP & WTA Tour events are held every March, or at the American University near the Marina.
If watching tennis is more your style, then ask us about booking a trip in March to co-incide with the Dubai Tennis Open and see the stars in action. It’s much easier to get tickets than for Wimbledon, and you don’t need to worry about rain delays!
